In the Medical Clinic and Polyclinic II for Cardiology, Pneumology, Angiology and Internalist Intensive Medicine at the heart centre of the University Hospital of Bonn, the following place is to be filled in full-time (38,5 hours/week):

The body is limited to five years. Long-term cooperation and the corresponding extension of employment is explicitly desired. The Medical Clinic II for Cardiology, Angiology, Pneumology and Internalist Intensive Medicine forms the heart centre of Bonn together with the Clinic for Heart Surgery. The entire range of services of modern cardiology and heart surgery is depicted. All conservative, interventional and operative therapies are carried out. One focus is clinical electrophysiology. The interventional treatment of cardiac arrhythmias by means of catheter ablation (destruction). A special focus of your work will be on the care of electrophysiological studies.

Preparation, organisation and participation of clinical trials, in particular randomized clinical trials according to AMG Organisation of studies and implementation of study protocols in close cooperation with the study team Support of the test physicians in identifying suitable test persons Independent support/adjustment of the test persons during the entire study Documentation and preparation of business plans, collection of all study-relevant data (e.g. CRF, eCRF) Support in the organisation and implementation of test-plan examinations (e.g. detection of vital parameters, ECGs, processing of blood samples and sample dispatch) Collection of data by means of questionnaires and separate implementation of standardised clinical tests (after incorporation) Preparation and monitoring of initiations, monitoring visits, audits and authority inspections Contact person for doctors, examiners, monitors, authorities and sponsors Active participation in the improvement and optimisation of the processes within the framework of quality management (e.g. control of completeness, defectability, plausibility) and cooperation within the framework of certifications Coordination of cooperation with the higher-level clinical study centre at the UKB (SZB) Training of the study staff of the site Cooperation with third-party applications Self-development of study ideas very welcome Support in the publication of research results and congress contributions Presentation of clinical studies and active participation in Site Qualification Visits, Investigator Meetings and Site Initiation Meetings

Completed vocational training as a health and nursing workerin, medical professionals Ideally, a successfully completed course for qualified student assistance or a comparable qualification course and experience in clinical trials Practical experience in carrying out studies, in particular randomized, controlled studies according to AMG Knowledge of the Good Clinical Practice for conducting clinical trials (e.g. GCP certificate) or the willingness to obtain this qualification at short notice Practical experience with databases and medical documentation systems Interest in dealing with patients and work in a study team High motivation and commitment as well as the ability to work independently and independently A high level of enthusiasm, organizational talent, communicative characteristics and team skills Good knowledge of how to use common MS Office EDV programs and good knowledge of English language in word and writing
