As System Administrators, together with Site Reliability Engineers and Network Reliability Engineers, you are planning and running our defense platforms to protect our hosting products and infrastructure. In addition to the classic DDoS defense, topics such as a modern Web Application Firewall, IDS/IPS, Zero Trust Strategies and a Content Delivery Network (CDN) are among the core tasks of our products. In a culture that places great emphasis on creative ideas, agile working methods, self-initiative and co-determination, the following exciting tasks await you: Administration and removal of highly available, complex and demanding infrastructures, including participation in a readiness to call. Development and optimization of distributed DDoS defense platforms as well as analysis and visualization mechanisms on cloud and non-cloud infrastructures. Monitoring systems, analysis of attacks and monitoring of current trends. Evaluation and evaluation of new technologies and products. Development and implementation of new functions as well as planning and implementation of international rollouts. Supporting the set goals through an efficient operating architecture, active lifecycle management and lean processes in an agile DevOPS environment. In addition, you have a strong interest in security issues, good networking skills and the following: Many years of experience in the administration of complex distributed Linux systems. Practical knowledge about the operation of Nginx as reverse proxy or web application firewall. Infrastructure as code and automation is an important part of your own work. Knowledge about BGP, Flowspec, Anycast Routing, as well as the basic understanding of network protocols on Linux systems is not strange to you. Good analytical skills to evaluate DDoS attacks, implement countermeasures and continuously develop our defense platforms. First experiences with the technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes or an ELK stack are of advantage. Like us, you are a fan of open source, especially Linux.
