The future – environment – society (ZUG) gGmbH is looking for the PtX core materials of the ''PtX Lab Lausitz'' in Cottbus at the next possible time Consultant (w/m/d) für Politikentwicklung und -beratung – TVÖD Bund EG 13 – Voll- oder Teil On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK), the Competence Center “PtX Lab Lausitz – Practical Laboratory for Power and Base Materials from Green Hydrogen” was founded in 2021 by the ZUG gGmbH and is constantly evolving. It supports policy, business, society and science on the path to greenhouse gas neutrality by linking the electricity sector with transport and industrial sectors (PtX). The PtX Lab Lausitz acts as a knowledge platform, impulse provider and contact person for industry, politics and science. The focus of the work is the introduction of an environmentally sound production and use of PtX products. The PtX Property has focused on the deossilization of the chemical industry, available non-fossil PtX starting materials and a sustainable raw material strategy. As a consultant for policy development and consulting (m/w/d), you will not only participate in your own field of expertise (PtX basics), you will also bring your expertise into various projects of the Think Tank across the field. Your thematic focus is on the analysis and development of policy recommendations.

You analyze the current state and development of the market turmoil as well as the application of current-based chemical basic and fuels across different sectors (including in the chemical industry) and evaluate policy instruments as well as the policy landscape. Based on these analyses, you develop policy instruments, strategies and other solutions that contribute to a sustainable raw material strategy, to the deossilisation of the chemical industry and to the availability of non-fossil chemicals and fuels. From the results, you will create publications (e.g. academic articles, policy briefings) for different audiences, prepare presentations and lectures for professional publicity and assist in general public relations. In team-wide cooperation, you will participate in the development and implementation of event formats, such as specialist events on current legislative procedures, and support their implementation. You connect the Centre of Excellence with relevant actors from industry, science and politics at regional, national, European and international level and encourage these contacts through active stakeholder management. You support PtX's technical questions in the Ministry's advice and especially discuss short-term written requests.
