Application Consultant / Head of Concrete Laboratory – Civil Engineer / Building Materials Engineer / Concrete Technologist (m/f/d)

You advise sales colleagues and customers on all technical questions about the use and application of our cement products and ensure customer-oriented, efficient after-sales service. You enter selected large-scale construction projects (e.g. road, bridge, tunnel construction) and in exchange with customers – including manufacturers of transport concrete, precast concrete and paving stones – to achieve optimal results with our products. For each customer-specific requirement the suitable cement solution! Your claim, which you are implementing together with your employees in the concrete laboratory – with tailor-made concrete formulations if necessary. As part of customer requests, quality assurance and complaint processing, you initiate the necessary concrete tests/tests and also have their evaluations safely under control. Our product developers rely on your input when assessing and developing new products. With your extensive expertise, you can also testify to internal and external product and customer training, specialist events and specialist lectures.

Civil engineer, civil engineer, concrete technology or a comparable qualification Professional experience in the application consulting of a cement/concrete manufacturing, processing or testing company. Alternative sales experience from the building materials, cement or concrete industry. Funded knowledge about cement(chemistry) and concrete(technology and manufacturing), ideally laboratory experience Experience in project-related application support (roads, bridges, tunnels, concrete works, etc.) and very much also in the area of precast concrete parts and plaster stones. Ability to lead and motivate a small team of very independent employees Communication strength as well as the ability to advise technology professionals at eye level Working English skills in word and writing Business trips and customer visits (approximately 30 – 40%) are not a problem for you.
