To strengthen our Team Enterprise Architecture & Innovation in the central group IT in Oberkochen, Munich or Jena, we are looking for an experienced enterprise architect that covers one or more EA domains at ZEISS. In this role you give orientation, introduce your architectural expertise and take responsibility within the EAM (Enterprise Architecture Managements) of the Carl Zeiss Group.

Development of the Enterprise Architecture Domain “ERP (Engineer-to-Order, Lead-to-Cash, Inbound-to-Outbound, Record-to-Report, Idea-to-Market, Plan-to-Produce, ...)”. You develop a comprehensive vision of target architecture and focus significantly on business requirements and the classic EAM approach.

Their focus is on the architecture of solutions that work across different value streams. Here you will act as an architect in the planning, moderation and documentation of architectural workshops with architects, IT colleagues and business representatives.

You act as a “Trusted Advisor”, which not only addresses specific requirements, but also represents a technically oriented link for Solution Architects and supports colleagues in process questions.

You drive the identification and evaluation of new technologies.

Together with the Enterprise Architecture Team, You take over the governance role in architectural decisions and represent architectural concepts in company-wide architecture bodies.

You are able to understand relevant business strategies, whose derivation is based on technological, organisational and process skills and takes into account the impact on the application landscape. The aim is to identify and prioritize EA’s potential for improvement.

Based on your knowledge, you can take responsibility for adjacent relevant EA domains, such as integration/connectivity, marketing, e-commerce or production/production.

You have a degree in the field of (economic)informatics or a comparable qualification

You have a good overview of the SAP product portfolio of Value Streams: Engineer-to-Order, Lead-to-Cash, Inbound-to-Outbound, Record-to-Report

You have extensive professional experience and have already acquired knowledge in the enterprise environment

SAP-Customizing as well as debugging are known to you, ideally you have acquired this knowledge in a production-loaded work environment and already applied

You bring well-founded experiences from an SAP consultancy or as an SAP key user and are trained to keep several professional balls in the air at the same time.

You are characterized by a pronounced technical affinity and a high level of problem-solving competence and convince you with well-founded methodological knowledge and experience in architectural consulting

Objectives of the EAM are known to you and you can successfully apply them using methods and tools for architectural and process documentation (e.g. LeanIX, Archimate, Signavio)

You have analytical skills, good presentation techniques and very good communication skills in German and English

Certificates in TOGAF, SAFe are advantageous
