Lawyer/In-house Counsel for Export Compliance Governance (m/f/d)

Concepts the Compliance Management System of Export Compliance Advises the Board of Management within the Country of Attention Process through assessments as a basis of decision and develops the process further Ensure compliance with export compliance with M&A and JV projects and advises Participation Management in the Post-Merger Integration Phase Advises the Supervisory Board, the Management Board, the Management Boards and Departments in case of policy decisions on export compliance and geostrategic decisions Develops the reports on compliance risks, results of checks and action implementations, possibly with presentations at board level and evaluates them in advance Develops a monitoring catalog for future monitoring by the export compliance to assess the risks Designs the annual questions of export compliance for all HENSOLDT Legal Entities Conducts monitoring of training content created and trained by export control Tracks legal changes and communicates them to the company Development and implementation of external training and implementation of these changes in the organisation Regularly advises and consults the Legal/Compliance section on new/modified legal requirements & necessary measures Development of the concept and further development of the compliance management system of export compliance Is responsible for the conceptual development and updating of directives and internal guidelines of the export compliance and is responsible for the relevant fields Advises all areas of the Group globally legally on issues of export compliance Selects external consultants and firms, is responsible for compliance with the budget and for monitoring the work results Is responsible for examining MoUs, NDA ́s, offers and contracts with regard to external economic issues Develops conceptually standardized export control clauses Develops risk management and examines self-assessments by business Developed and presents topics for export control-relevant training for 1st Line units

Completed studies of law (e.g. LL.M., law firm) At least seven years of relevant professional experience with the focus on contract law and compliance Good knowledge of national and international export control law (including EU dual and military goods law, German AWG/AWV, US export control, embargo and sanctions lists) Very good knowledge in design, implementation and monitoring of a compliance management system, processes and governance structures Analytical, structured as well as independent and independent Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing; other foreign languages of advantage Good knowledge of adjacent disciplines and basic knowledge of internal business processes, structures and strategic relationships
