The wine-competence centre combines the entire wine, sparkling wine and spirits business under one roof and thus encompasses the shopping & category management function for our stationary markets, the online business of wine lovers & the Cologne wine cellar as wine-specialty trade. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated personality at the next possible time.

What you can do with us:

You show commitment: If you are responsible for supplier management in consultation with the Senior Buyer and conduct independent negotiations with suppliers. If you support the Senior Buyer and the team in the area of wine, champagne and spirits in all sales-line-specific and administrative tasks. Looking ahead is your strength: you are analysing and testing the market targeted to identify product innovations. Your analytical skills do not come too short: you draw the right conclusions about product and supplier management from figures, data and facts. You think strategic: in terms of the preparation and execution of tenders and the further development of own brands. You have everything in mind: in the development and implementation of measures for assortment and price optimization. You are in the middle of it: Because you are responsible for cross-sales purchasing at supplier, procurement and quality levels. Because you work closely with different internal and external interfaces. You take responsibility: You take professional leadership in the team.

Your strong team skills as well as your communicative and assertive personality. Your successfully completed economic studies or a comparable qualification. Your multi-year professional experience in purchasing or category management, preferably in a trading company. Very good knowledge in handling MS Office (especially Power Point and Excel) and your knowledge in goods management systems. Good English language skills in word and writing are of advantage.
