Responsible for the Europe-wide purchase of materials, spare parts and services based on the requirements of the operational areas, including the monitoring of the entire delivery process Implementation of contract negotiations including long-term framework contracts, price requests and guidance of price negotiations with our suppliers Ensure that the goods purchased comply with valid specifications and quality requirements Implementation of regular supplier reviews, including according to the criteria quality and schedule Development and updating of measures for price optimization (e.g. price negotiations), testing of alternative sources of supply settlement of complaints with our suppliers Responsible for the master data system and care for spare parts and materials Implementation of the audit and audit Application of component revisions as well as the dispatch disposition incl. Creation of shipping documents and exit/input controls Initiation of quantitative planning for high-price components and components with long delivery times with the participation of demand carriers, participation in the planning of requirements of other spare parts and materials Implementation of procurement marketing and supplier management Regular reporting by means of key figures to the Head of Technology Occasional travel activities (meeting, supplier visits) Participation in supplier audits, recovery of self-evidents

Successfully completed studies as a specialist or a commercial training as an industrial businessman/wife At least 3 years in a responsible function as a buyer, as far as possible in the field of the rail vehicle industry, a maintenance workshop or a railway undertaking or infrastructure undertaking Knowledge of the interaction of operational areas in the railway system (vehicle, infrastructure, operation)
