Together we face the challenge and plan and build production and infrastructure facilities as well as the necessary network infrastructure for electricity, district heating, district heating, gas, water and telecommunications. In the field of planning and construction, KWK and district heating systems are planned, projected and implemented comprehensively, completely and interdisciplinaryly. Together, the disciplines of machine and process engineering, electrical engineering, control technology and construction engineering go through all phases of the project. We are looking for you as a process expert for strengthening the team during the planning phase.

Responsible implementation of the internal process for functional safety in production plant construction projects (phases 1-6 of the safety life cycle) Preparation, implementation and follow-up of hazard and risk analyses (e.g. HAZOP studies) Determination and specification of requirements for process control safety devices Support for the design and planning of PLT security facilities Creation of proofs of functional safety, SIL calculations Experts and contact persons for the subject of functional safety internally and also to external partners such as the notified bodies and the approved monitoring bodies

You have a successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineer or a comparable qualification Ideally you have training for the Functional Safety Engineer You have knowledge of the relevant regulations for functional safety, in particular DIN EN 50156, DIN EN 61508, DIN 61511, VDE 2180 Knowledge of process engineering and technical power plant components and experience in production plant construction Knowledge of the Product Safety Act and the related guidelines, in particular the Printer Directive and Machine Directive You have an analytical, structured way of working and understand your environment to inspire your themes
