The professorship is located in the medical sciences study programme with the fields of laboratory technology, diagnostic and therapy, life sciences and general medical sciences. The course is currently under construction and will be offered for the first time in October 2026 at the DHBW Heilbronn. In addition to the takeover of courses, you will participate in the further development of the study offer in teaching and research in cooperation with our dual partners. Your tasks also include the supervision of project and bachelor's work. You are also responsible for maintaining relationships with the dual partners and their recovery. You accompany the students in the theoretical and practical phase. The takeover of tasks in academic self-management is assumed. The takeover of the management of the medical sciences course is desirable.

A team-oriented acting personality is sought which, with above-average commitment and extensive leadership and cooperation competence in relation to students and training companies, actively contributes to the development of the course of study. You have a relevant academic degree (e.g. in medicine) as well as professional experience in the medical environment, in particular in cooperation with medical technologists for laboratory analysis, radiology and functional diagnostics, with emergency medical technicians and with anaesthetic assistants and surgical assistants Experiences in academic teaching are of advantage We wish for a enthusiasm for working in the team, a strong communication strength and gender and diversity competence.
