Development Engineer Embedded Software (m/w/d)

As a member of the group “Embedded Software” specify and develop software for military communication systems. You support the selection and implementation of suitable hardware platforms to use the software. You specify and create required unit tests. You are responsible for the preparation of test specifications, test instructions and protocols. You support the creation of technical documentation on our products. You accompany internal system integration.

You have a degree in computer science, communications technology, physics or a comparable qualification. You already have practical experience in designing and implementing software components in C/C++. You feel very comfortable at work in the team, but are also able to lead complex topics to success independently. You are able to follow both classic and agile development methods. CI/CD is not a foreign word for you. Ideally, you have already gained experience on different HW platforms (uC, SOG, SOM). You implemented “Bare Metal” on RTOS or “Full Featured” operating systems, such as Linux. Experiences with FreeRTOS are beneficial. You are open-minded, communicative and curious. You dominate the balance between the search for the technically optimal and economically sensible solution path. You have good English skills in word and writing.
