In this function, your task is to continuously question the above-mentioned established process technologies with the aim of developing the individual process steps more efficiently and effectively. You will see “outside the edge of the plate” and will not be deterred by new, unconventional ideas and approaches. Their guiding principle is correct: “Why do we do so, could this be done better (faster, cheaper, more efficient, more effective), there is an alternative approach to solving this problem in customer sense?” In this function, you work closely with R&E and product management.

We would like to get to know you if you -ideally as a PhD engineer, physicist, engineer - had to do with innovations or You have developed and introduced themselves. This may have been the case both in a similar function in industry, but also in a classic research institute such as Fraunhofer or Max Planck. It is also important to us that you as a specialist not only see the problem, but also - as far as possible - take into account the (economic) circumstances. As a personality, you are a “professional and craftsman”, in principle curious, ready to question everything and can “sell” your point of view.
