Number: MER0004A0G In the research and development (R&D) of Mercedes-Benz technology meets emotions. Our department develops innovative concepts for the realization of the vehicle design of tomorrow and moves in the field of tension between technical possibilities and design requirements. Our team's portfolio includes the development of conformation components for the S-Class as well as the MB.EA-L and EVA2 platforms. The supervised components include front and rear bumpers, radiator panels, longitudinal support panels, fins, decorative strips and crash-relevant structural parts. Through the numerous interfaces of our components, you will gain insights into various areas of expertise such as design, raw construction, crash, pedestrian protection, sensor integration and automated driving, total vehicle protection and project management. You will also get to know the entire development process – from the early design model to the serial vehicle. Your tasks in detail: Creation of connection and component concepts with Siemens NX Design and commissioning of rapid prototyping parts for concept testing Construction and maintenance of test vehicles Independent implementation of light measurements on vehicle prototypes and measurement of new materials Organisation and monitoring of functional testing on vehicles and prototype parts and implementation of benchmarks, analyses and presentation preparations for management Taking responsibility for subprojects The activity can begin from March 2027.
