In the Information Security Centre of the Data Center Alliance Rheinland-Pfalz (RARP SIS) at the data center of the RPTU Kaiserslautern - Landau (RHRZ) you support the universities in Rheinland-Pfalz in building and developing efficient information security structures. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated personality with sound expertise in information security management.

Development, professional responsibility and independent continuation of the RARP SIS's multi-level support and consulting portfolio for the development and development of information security management systems (ISMS) based on the BSI IT basic protection Developing a technical target and designing binding reference models, standard procedures and pattern structures for ISMS-relevant documents and procedures Methodological and professional management of universities in the introduction, development and consolidation of ISMS structures Analysis of information security-relevant starting positions, implementation of inventory and maturity assessments, and derivation of location-specific target images and action programmes Development of technical procedures and methodological basis for risk and compliance requirements, protection requirements, risk analyses, guidelines, processes and audits Development and quality assurance of professional artefacts as well as professional representation of the ISMS & Standards theme in bodies, working groups and multi-level voting formats

Completed academic studies, preferably in a relevant technical, information security-related, administrative or comparable subject Advanced knowledge of IT security standards and frameworks, especially BSI IT basic protection, ideally complemented by ISO 27001 Knowledge and as practical as possible experience in building or operating an ISMS in larger organisations Knowledge of risk analysis, protection requirements determination, policy work, audit preparation and basics in data protection, IT law and relevant regulatory requirements High level of sense of responsibility, integrity and strong analytical and conceptual thinking Ability to independently process complex issues Representative consulting, communication and cooperation competence Very good written and oral expressiveness in German
