The “Operative Asset Management” is the internal contractor for network projects at TransnetBW. For this purpose, the regional target network required to implement the energy transition in Baden-Württemberg, necessary intermediate networks, renewal requirements of our transmission network and further measures in the existing network are planned. These plans are incorporated into long-term concepts for the development of the substations and management systems and are transferred to projects. In portfolio management, we ensure and plan, prioritize and manage the project landscape. Continuous work is being carried out on the renewal of the existing network. A renewal programme of the conductor ropes will be planned for this purpose over the coming years. First of all, the aggregated need for renewal must be divided into specific technical proposals. A proposal for the specific design of the renewal is to be drawn up for each line installation and each circuit. As part of the final work, you develop a tool that enables automated derivation of renewal measures for conductor ropes To do this, you transfer the existing MS Excel-based tool to MATLAB or Python as a basis for performing the analyses They extend the methodology for the transferred tool to consider additional technically possible variants. As a basis, the existing approaches that you analyze, expand or revise in the first step as part of your work They increase the degree of detail of the analyses by increased granularity of the calculations (or, if appropriate, by another method) You implement a way to view multiple scenarios through parameter variation and perform calculations for different scenarios.
