Operational implementation of national and international export control rules (e.g. EU dual use, BAFA, US re-export regulations) Examination of goods, recipients, countries and uses Implementation and documentation of: sanctions list checks, classifications (e.g. tariff / export control numbers), application and monitoring of export and transfer authorisations Contact person for internal departments, authorities & external auditors Working with audits, internal controls and process improvements Planning, implementation and evaluation of transport tenders (Tenders) Selection, control and evaluation of freight forwarders and logistics service providers Negotiation of Freight Rates, Service Levels, Contract Terms Operational freight management: monitoring of costs, quality and delivery reliability as well as analysis of transport key figures and deriving optimization potentials Close cooperation with: logistics, purchasing, MRP and external partners
Completed degree in the field: Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Business Administration (BWL) / Economic Engineering or comparable degree programme Found experience in export control (e.g. EU dual use, BAFA, penalty lists) Knowledge of transport, tender and freight management Experience in cooperation with freight forwarders and logistics service providers Secure handling of ERP systems and MS Excel Good knowledge of English in word and writing (further languages of advantage) Structured, careful and responsible operation Analytical thinking and economic understanding Communication strength in handling internal and external interfaces
