Social education:in (m/w/d)

For our area of youth and family help, we are looking for dedicated social education:inside for direct educational work with young people in the young people who are part of the population according to SGB VIII. You have the pleasure of building a new offer and a new team from scratch, together with us. The new youth apartment is built in a semi-detached house in a quiet residential area in Wilhelmsburg. The family and manageable setting offers young people and young full-year-olds a reliable place of life from 16 years onwards, where You are prepared step by step for self-employed life.

Your tasks – accompanying young people on their way to self-employment:

Educational support and reference support: You take individual reference care and build a reliable relationship work with young people and young full-year-olds. Self-employment: You support the organization of everyday life, budget management, finance, health and administrative affairs, as well as practical tasks related to living. Transitions: You accompany the school, professional and personal perspectives. Help planning & crisis management: You participate in help plans and support in conflict and crisis situations. Social interaction: You promote social skills, leisure and social participation. Documentation & Reports: You'll set up support and development reports professionally and document according to our standards. Quality Assurance: You participate in supervisions, case counselling and team meetings and actively contribute your practical experience to the educational work. Cooperation: You work closely with youth offices, schools, departments and network partners.

Your profile – this is what you bring:

Complete study of social education, social work (with state recognition) or a comparable qualification. Joy in pedagogical work with young people and young full-year-olds. A resource-oriented and valuable attitude. A safe and empathic appearance, as well as the ability to build sustainable pedagogical relationships and at the same time set clear limits. Organisational and communication strength as well as a structured and independent way of working, combined with the joy of professional exchange and good cooperation in the team. Finded knowledge of SGB VIII as well as practical experience in youth and family support – ideally in residential forms. Ideally experience in dealing with Hamburg authorities (e.g. youth offices, district offices). Willingness to work also in the afternoon and evening hours as well as participation in the agreed willingness to call.
