The SOS Children's Village Sauerland supports as a combination of stationary youth aids with a variety of offers in the area of SGB VIII. With around 140 employees, we improve the living situation of many children, young people and families every day. Our three-group Kita Pfützenhüpfer offers 50 full-day courses for girls and boys aged two to six years. In a loving and professional environment, our dedicated professionals accompany the children to explore themselves and their world with curiosity, joy and discovery. For the management of our kita, we are looking for a personality that takes responsibility with expertise, empathy and design joy and, together with the team, creates a reliable place for children and families. Your tasks include: You take over the pedagogical and organizational management of our Kita and bear responsibility for a valuable, professionally sound and reliable educational work. You accompany and strengthen your team in daily work and create an environment in which a trusting co-existence, professional exchange and common development are of course. You ensure the development documentation as well as the implementation of our pedagogical conception and continuously develop it together with your team. You take up the curiosity and interests of the children and, together with your team, create educationally meaningful experience and testing spaces where children can discover, learn and grow. You have a completed training as a state-recognized educator*in or a completed study of social education/social work, or a comparable educational qualification recognised as a Kita leadership and thus meet the technical requirements for the function as a Kita leadership. Ideally, you will bring at least two years of professional experience in a management position with staff responsibility and have the pleasure of leading employees value-estimating, promoting their strengths and developing educational quality together as a team. You have a well-founded knowledge of the legal and technical foundations relevant to day care and apply them safely in your daily work. You meet children and their families with an appreciation, resource-oriented and holistic view and understand parents as important partners in educational work. You maintain professional, binding and respectful cooperation and communication with the team, parents, supporters and networking partners. You bring together commitment, sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for design and want to continuously develop the pedagogical work of our Kita together with your team. You are happy to work in the team and are characterised by an independent, structured and flexible way of working. In the relationship design with the children and families entrusted to us, you act reflected and professional and have a secure understanding of proximity and distance.
