Who we are:

The mother-child institution is a social pedagogical institution of free youth assistance, which understands itself as an institution that provides social pedagogical and therapeutic services. These are geared to the needs of (becoming) mothers and children - even in the most difficult situations of life.

The establishment has 58 fully-stationary places for mothers and their children, which are divided into six homogeneously composed housing groups.

Your tasks:

The special focus of your work is on the care of parents who are temporarily unable to live with their child or their children without help.

Together with the team, you are responsible for ensuring child welfare.

You ensure the quality of work, you are a contact person for educational questions and give mothers and fathers a secure and reliable support framework.

Depending on the needs of the parent, you accompany appointments and help in dealing with offices and authorities

You create and follow a help plan with individual goals together with the parent

You are conducting development talks with mothers and fathers

With your team, you promise, exchange and support each other

You write reports and document your work.

A completed study of the social work/pedagogy or alternatively a university degree that qualifies you for the exercise of the task field

Responsibility and appreciation for the people entrusted to you

Cooperation and competences in handling authorities

Communicative skills, contact and team skills, social competence

Safe handling of digital software/motivated work into internal programs
