About us We produce high-quality special glasses and rely on state-of-the-art melting and shaping methods, highest safety standards and continuous process optimization. To strengthen our team in melting, we are looking for motivated specialists who take responsibility, work precisely and enjoy technical processes. Your duties operation, installation and refurbishment of machinery and equipment in the glass melt Implementation of small maintenance and maintenance measures incl. Documentation in SAP Support for process engineers and order preparation in process improvements Detection and analysis of deviations and initiation of appropriate countermeasures malfunction management in close coordination with emergency planning Responsibility for setup processes and adherence to form and product specifications Compliance with production-relevant specifications and processing/entry in the SAP Training of new employees in melting Your profile Complete technical training (e.g. procedural mechanic, industrial mechanic, plant manager) Experience in melting, hot forming or comparable production areas Experience and willingness to work in the shift system Technical understanding of thermal processes, plant management and process control Responsible, team-oriented working and high attention to safety and quality Good documentation capability and ideal SAP basic knowledge Very good knowledge of German in word and writing Your Benefit As open as SCHOTT is for your further development, our offer of additional benefits is as extensive.
