Accountant / Bilanzbuchhalter (m/f/d)

You create balance sheets for the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB and US-GAAP and support in reporting, forecasts, budget planning, evaluations and ad hoc requests. You are responsible for the proper recording of all operations in asset accounting, as well as you are actively involved in investment projects and advise the departments in accounting issues. You are the main partners for the tax accounting of business incidents of all kinds and for tax-relevant issues of the Group tax department and are contact persons for auditors and tax advisors. You release demand requirements taking into account the trade regulations and intra-group guidelines. You work on process improvements and on projects within financial accounting. You are the main partner for the Group's Shared Service Center for Creditor and Debitor Accounting. You are co-responsible for SOX Audit and ensure compliance with SOX requirements. This also includes the further development of process descriptions. The handling of balance-sheet issues and special topics according to HGB and US-GAAP is one of your tasks.

You have completed a professional training and a further education on the account book holder or successfully completed a Bachelor's degree in economics. You have been able to gain several years of professional experience in accounting, especially in the main accounting and asset accounting, ideally in the group environment. You have very good accounting knowledge according to HGB and US-GAAP as well as very good knowledge of German tax law, in particular income tax and turnover tax. You have very good Excel and SAP user knowledge of the FI, AA, CO modules as well as other modules are of advantage. You already have experience in the supervision of auditors and other audits, SOX experience is desirable. You are characterized by a fast conception and an independent and analytical method, have a high degree of self-responsibility and are happy to work in the team. Good knowledge of English in word and writing (level B1) complete your profile.
