Together with your six colleagues, you are the central contact person for doctoral candidates and postdocs. Your tasks include: Conception and implementation of personnel development measures for postdocs (including identification of future-oriented topics, and methods, selection of speakers, coordination of seminar contents, negotiation of contract conditions) Planning and organisation of training events (approx. 60 per year) Implementation of career guidance and support in career orientation phases Conception and organisation of networking and information events (e.g. on topics such as career promotion, mobility, mental health, work-life balance) Perception of internal and external representation tasks (e.g. participation in events, committee meetings and conferences Working with the design of marketing materials (website, flyer, social media) Budget planning and cost monitoring
You have a completed university degree (Bachelor or comparable) Experience in the design and implementation of personnel development instruments (e.g. further education programmes), ideally in the scientific context first experiences in the career consulting of scientists Knowledge of career paths in science or the motivation to work quickly into the German doctoral and postdoc system Confidence with high-school courses and the scientific establishment or the willingness to work into them very good English knowledge of word and writing pronounced communication, presentation and networking competence an independent, structured and reliable way of working with high quality standards and design wishes Joy of teamwork and a valuable cooperative attitude in a dedicated environment
