IT Specialist System, Cloud and Security Architecture (m/f/d)

As part of our KI-D@ARENA2036-X initiative, we develop and operate a test and demonstration environment for data space-based AI applications. In addition, we work on the further development of our IT and OT infrastructure in various research projects to design and implement innovative concepts in practice. Our work focuses on the challenges of continuous digitization in connected production processes as well as in distributed value creation networks and supply chains. We continuously expand our test and demonstration capacities. The construction of such agile environments requires a reorientation of previous processes and structures. To support this transformation, we are looking for an experienced IT expert: with comprehensive knowledge in the fields of system, network, cloud and security architectures. Ideally, you also bring knowledge of system administration and programming. Your tasks include the design, implementation and operation of a sustainable architecture for our test and demonstration environments. As a central interface, you work closely with the professionals of our ARENA2036 members as well as the University IT, with which we operate parts of our infrastructure together.

Support in the design, installation and operation of test and demonstration environments with different safety requirements. The use of technologies such as the management shell and the Eclipse Dataspace Components in the context of Industry 4.0 and participation in the development of an appropriate IT system and network architecture Development of concepts for the use of AI applications in data spaces, including: use of AI for the implementation and operation of data spaces Design of AI applications that can be integrated into data spaces as services

Working with an operating and safety concept, with a focus on: assessment of safety requirements within the framework of common protection objectives Planning, implementation and operation of a distributed identity management Advising research projects for optimal use of test and demonstration environments Expected to perform administrative tasks in daily operation

Complete IT training or scientific studies with strong IT affinity and experience in the IT environment (ideally Master or Promotion) Knowledge in the construction of system architectures Multiannual experience in managing server or cloud-based operating systems Safe handling of shells (Microsoft and Linux) as well as experience in container-based environments High language programming skills such as Python, Java, C++ or Ä. Ideally familiarity with GAIA-X concepts, the management board and their implementation projects Strong communication and presentation skills
