The Facility Management (FM) at DLR is a senior partner of the institutes and institutions for all FM topics in the West region.

Our goal at DLR's Technical Facility Management (TFM) is to find and successfully implement tailor-made solutions for buildings and technical facilities of scientific and experimental research. Your tasks You are directly responsible for the management of the Technical Facility Management and guides the group of high- and low-grade constructions and operations professionally and in a disciplined manner in the areas of the West (plus Jülich, Aachen-Merzbrück, Würselen) with colleagues in the field, architects, engineers, skilled workers and technicians. In support teams, your employees work project-related and object-related together with the groups of supply and electrical engineering. You analyze and evaluate the developments at the sites and build the necessary expertise for future requirements in your team. In addition, you will ensure the planning, prioritization and cross-border management of all projects i.e. project portfolio management. Your tasks include: Bringing your expertise into all relevant life cycle phases, e.g. by evaluating properties for further use or demolition, purchase or rental Assessment of refurbishment requirements in the field Accompanying Special Engineers and Experts professional preselection of foreign companies incl. Ensuring tender-ready performance directories Ensuring plant and maintenance contracts through framework contract agreements and creating performance agreements and service-level agreements Consultation of customers and FM colleagues on technical issues relating to the purchase of land, renting and renting of land, engineering, construction planning and development, as well as advice of institutions and facilities in the planning, design and construction of buildings and buildings Creation and development of operating concepts, structured demand analyses and systematic evaluation of customer satisfaction
