The newly established strategic business unit ZEISS Photonics & Optics bundles strong consumer products and high-end technologies for simulation and projection solutions. For development within the Simulation Projection Solutions we are looking for a FPGA designer (m/w/d). This includes the development of, for example, flight simulation solutions. Your role They design, implement and verify complex FPGA designs for video signal processing

They are responsible for the system conception and the design of complex embedded systems (SoC)

They develop efficient and robust software to optimize the performance and functionality of microprocessors

They maintain the commissioning of assemblies and the creation of test software

Ensure detailed development documentation

You are responsible for the FPGA design from optimization to series maturity

You have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable degree course

Multiannual experience in FPGA design and verification

You have experience with Logic and Timing Simulation, Constraining, Synthesis and Floorplanning as well as Design and Implementation in VHDL (Verilog)

Successfully completed projects in software development in C / C++ (Microcontroller area in FPGA)

Knowledge in the areas of video signal processing, DRAM memory connection, Ethernet network connection

Knowledge about the FPGA family XILINX Zynq UltraScale+ SOM, about the system Design, Power Management and Secure Boot

Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English in word and writing
