As a OT‐Security Engineer (m/w/d), you are part of Optima Pharma. In the development and production of intelligent turnkey filling solutions including isolator and freeze dryers, you will work with the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Future-oriented, sustainable and flexible.

The coordination and implementation of the IEC 62443 standard series forms a central part of the activity and ensures consistent anchoring of OT‐Security processes in the company. The requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and the Machine Regulation (MVO) are implemented in projects, including project-related cybersecurity risk assessments, the creation of software Bills of Materials (SBOM) and the definition of security levels (SL). Active participation in cyber security assessments, audits and penetration tests contributes to the continuous improvement of security standards. As a central contact person for OT‐Security concerns, close coordination with customers, external partners and internal specialist areas takes place. Building and monitoring a structured vulnerability management will provide the basis for a future business model for handling technical vulnerabilities in machine components.

A completed study in automation technology, electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering or a comparable subject form the basis for this position. Funded knowledge in IEC 62443, the Machinery Regulation (MVO) and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) enable a secure assessment and implementation of regulatory requirements. Experience in risk analyses and assessments supports the technical depth in projects. Ideally, there is already practical experience in special machine construction or in other regulated industries. Very good knowledge of German and English are used safely and purposefully in daily exchange and complement a structured, responsible way of working and communicative strength.
