Senior React (Native) Developer (m/f/d)

As part of an agile team, you develop the frontend of our React Native and Java-based B2C apps for EDEKA, market purchase and drink goods, as well as other cross-platform applications that have several million registered users. With a 'state of the art' stack (including TypeScript and RxJS, React Native, Redux, Styled Components, Jest and Storybook), you develop new features, features and work on our server drives UI Framework. You develop and implement high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native and TypeScript. You actively participate in the architecture and technical design of new features and applications and ensure scalability, performance and durability. You ensure high code quality through code reviews, compliance with best practices and the implementation of automated tests (Unit, Integration, E2E). You work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers and backend developers to understand requirements and develop technical solutions. You identify and correct complex errors, optimize app performance and continuously improve user experience. You support and coach less experienced team members and actively participate in your knowledge. You are testing current technology trends and evaluating their applications for our products.

You have successfully completed your studies or training with IT cover or have an equivalent qualification. You have profound experience in developing cross-platform applications with React Native in a product-based environment (ideally in the context of brand apps or feature teams) and have solid knowledge in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React Native and Redux (or similar state management libraries). You have a deep understanding of mobile ecosystems (iOS and Android platforms) and their specific features. You are experienced in handling RESTful APIs and ideally GraphQL as well as routined in (Unit)Testing with frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Detox or Appium. You have a very good knowledge about it. Versioning tools like git and CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Fastlane). You are characterized by a pronounced problem-solving competence, team skills, communication strength and a proactive way of working. You are willing to take regular service trips to Amsterdam to discuss common standards in application development with our partner company Picnic Technologies. You have fluent German skills (mind.C1) as well as good English skills (mind. B2) in word and writing.
