System Engineer Workplace Services (m/w/d) – IT Support

The UKSH Gesellschaft für IT Services mbH, based in Lübeck, actively supports the digital transformation and future of the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein (UKSH) and supports top-level medicine and research at the largest employer Schleswig-Holstein. Our focus is on customized software solutions and comprehensive support in all clinical applications as well as in administration and logistics. We provide future-oriented technical infrastructure, hardware, IT support and regular software updates to ensure first-class patient care. We also offer our IT services to UKSH subsidiaries and external partners.

They support the existing workplace hardware in an exciting IT landscape of a university clinic in 2nd level support.

They install special soft and hardware solutions in the clinical environment – precise and reliable.

They accompany IT projects, rollouts and move-overs and ensure that our technical standards are met.

They maintain and manage client peripheral devices such as printers, monitors and other accessories.

You document your activities conscientiously in our ticket system.

They take on call readiness and thus ensure a smooth IT operation – around the clock.

You have a completed vocational training in IT – ideally as a specialist (m/w/d) for system integration or with a comparable IT qualification.

They have well-founded knowledge in Windows client operating systems as well as in the application of Microsoft Office.

They bring experience in dealing with Active Directory, Microsoft Basic Services and TCP/IP-based networks.

Ideally, you have already worked with software distribution systems – preferably with the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

The handling of ticket systems is familiar to you, as is the first experience in working in sensitive areas such as hygiene zones.

They think analytic, work structured, proactive and bring a high self-motivation.

Teamwork, communication strength and a pronounced concept of service are what you distinguish.

They have a driving licence of class B/BE and are ready to operate flexibly in the clinic environment within the scope of the task.
