We from OXG Glas GmbH build and operate a fast and reliable fiber optic network for all over Germany. Over a period of six years, we will supply about seven million households in Germany with glass fibers. We invest up to seven billion euros in standardized broadband solutions and innovative FTTH expansion.

We are a small, powerful team at OXG and are responsible for IT architecture, AWS Cloud Governance and the technical support of projects. Our modern platform is based on Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK with TypeScript) and uses EKS, ECS and serverless architectures. Automation, security and wartability are the focus. You develop our AWS infrastructure and ensure a stable, scalable and secure operation, of course with a focus on automation. You actively shape our monitoring, logging and alarming with, for example, Prometheus,Grafana/Loki or Elastic. In architectural decisions and the introduction of new projects, you will be there from the outset and introduce your ideas. You're interested in IT security? Great! You can optionally bring your know-how about SIEM, Security Assessments or PenTests to us. You work closely with developer teams, architects and specialist departments at eye level and in direct exchange. And quite clearly: Code instead of PowerPoint! You build, document, test and bring things to run.

You have experience with various AWS services such as EKS, Networking, RDS, S3, IAM, Step Functions, Lambda, Direct Connect or X-Ray and feel at home in the cloud. Infrastructure as Code is self-evident, preferably with AWS CDK and TypeScript. Also Kubernetes (e.g. Helm, Karpenter, Network Policies) is not strange to you. Tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD and Logging & Monitoring are just part of your daily work. You're interested in Cloud Security, or you might even have experience with, for example, SIEM. You work structured, documented in a comprehensible way, share your knowledge and enjoy solutions that simply run round. Nice to have: Experience with PenTests or Elastic Security, basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or Oracle RDS and the desire to try new tools and ideas together in the team.
