Senior Design Engineer Injection Molding Tools (m/f/d)

You play a central role in the development of new plastic products and their transfer to an economic series production. You combine product development, tool design and injection moulding technology and design technical solutions from the first idea to the series. This is what awaits you: Development and optimization of plastic components taking into account function, productionability and costs Independent design of complete injection moulding tools Design of tool concepts, separations, deforming systems, sliders and cores Technical accompaniment of tool design, sampling and serial start Support in the industrialization of new products Coordination with customers, sales, project management, manufacturing and external partners Identification and implementation of improvements in quality, cycle time and tool costs Participation in automation and device concepts Construction and development of technical standards and design guidelines

Take this with you: Successfully completed technical training with further training for technicians, technical studies in the field of mechanical engineering, plastics technology, tool construction or comparable qualification Multiannual experience in the design and development of injection moulding tools Funded knowledge in tool technology and injection moulding processes Safe handling of CAD systems Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Technical competence, pragmatism and quality awareness
