As a home technician*in, you support the team of building technology to carry out repairs and inspections on our technical facilities. With craftsmanship and technical understanding, you take over general mastery activities and, together with your colleagues, make sure that our home technology is running smoothly at any time. Your work is characterized by a motivating team spirit based on appreciation, respect and openness. Together with your team, you are working on the achievement of day-to-day operational targets as well as improving technical facilities. WHY THE ROLE FOR YOU SPEAKING With your craftsmanship, you carry out small repairs on our technical equipment and work equipment. You install components, make changes to workstations and execute operational controls and inspections on technical systems.

Be a contact partner of foreign companies and accompany external colleagues at their work in our logistics center. Perform general renovation work at the site and support your team with major tasks.

Keep up to date independently about processes and technologies in building technology and continuously develop your technical knowledge and craft skills. Be helpful and ask your team how best to support you.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW WHAT? You have completed technical training and craftsmanship, are physically resilient and bring basic knowledge in the field of building technology. With these skills and your strong service idea, you carry out technical orders controlled, reliable and safe.

Your good German language skills in word and writing simplify communication in the team.

LOCATION Our European logistics network is growing: we are currently in the preparatory phase for the opening of our new site in Gießen (Hessen), which is just an hour away from Frankfurt am Main. The 130,000 square meter logistics centre is operated by Zalando and is designed for up to 1,700 employees. From this location, 2026 customers in Germany and neighbouring markets will receive their packages from summer. Our logistics staff ensure that more than 50 million Zalando customers receive their orders reliably every day in more than 25 European markets. Zalando now has a Europe-wide logistics network with twelve locations in seven countries. In Germany alone, around 6,000 employees from over 100 nations work at four Zalando logistics locations.
