As an electrical designer (m/w/d) automation technology, you are the “electric” head behind our automation systems in industrial automation projects. You design robust electrical systems, ensure seamless integration of automation technology and set high standards for safety and reliability. As a team, we work closely with our customers and BÄR Automation GmbH near Heilbronn to ensure smooth cooperation.

Electrical planning: creation of schematics, current schedules and cable plans with EPLAN P8. Component selection & E-BOM: evaluation, selection and integration of electrical components, sensors, actuators and controls as well as creation of piece lists. Integration & Interfaces: Cooperation with PLC programmers and automation specialists to ensure that the electrical designs meet the requirements. Security concepts: ensuring compliance with safety standards, CE directives and relevant regulations (e.g. IEC). Commissioning & Error Diagnostics: Support for installation, wiring and testing, including troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on site.

You have a completed technical training (e.g., electronics, mechatronics or electrical technicians) and ideally a further education for the technician/master electrical engineering. With EPLAN P8 you work safely and efficiently. You bring practical knowledge into control cabinet construction, wiring or assembly and are familiar with PLC, fieldbus and automation components. Travel activity is self-evident so that you can experience your designs live and improve them actively. You communicate clearly, work independently, but also like to work in the team – and you trust to introduce your own ideas instead of just editing targets. You can safely communicate with customers and suppliers in German and English and communicate complex topics to you clearly.
