Transaction lawyer with professional experience in the field of cybersecurity (m/f/d)

In our international team you support national and international clients – often global corporations and technology-driven companies – in demanding legal and regulatory issues at the interface of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and data protection. The focus of your activity is on cybersecurity: from preventive compliance to support in cyber crisis situations to contractual and transaction-related issues. You will support the assessment of regulatory risks, the development and implementation of resilient compliance structures, as well as the legal support of national and international transactions and projects. You work closely with our specialized teams in Germany and abroad. Your tasks include: Cybersecurity Compliance & Governance: support in consulting IT security requirements, in particular according to NIS2, DORA, Cyber Resilience Act and the Critical Entities Directive, as well as in developing and implementing resilient cybersecurity structures Incident Response & Cyber Crisis Management: Support for legal support for cyber incidents and data breaches AI-Regulation: Participation in advising the AI Act, in particular at the interface to cybersecurity Data protection: Support for consulting on GDPR compliance and other data protection issues Authorisation procedures: support in the monitoring of clients in proceedings against data protection and cybersecurity authorities Contract Design & Transactions: Participation in national and international M&A transactions and in the design and negotiation of contracts related to cybersecurity, AI and data processing Cybersecurity Due Diligence: Examination and Evaluation of Cybersecurity Risks in Due Diligence Processes

A successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in the legal field or a successfully completed first state exam Ideally, two to four years of professional experience in data protection law, IT law, cybersecurity or digital regulation Interest in technical, regulatory and entrepreneurial contexts A good understanding of the challenges of international clients in cybersecurity and data protection Very good English skills Teamability, initiative and joy in demanding mandate work A careful and structured way of working
