In our Safety Germany department we are looking for a responsible safety engineer (m/w/d), who advises our various business units at the Jena site and strategically develops and implements measures.

Your job As an advisory contact for skilled workers, executives as well as managing directors on all issues relating to the safety design of workplaces, workflows and the use of work equipment and hazardous materials

fulfill all tasks of a specialist in occupational safety according to §6 ASiG

Conduct safety assessments of specially built equipment as well as complex machinery and equipment within production

Consultation in factory planning with regard to safety and work science aspects

Supporting the creation and establishment of national and international standards in occupational safety

Plan, perform and document internal audits according to ISO 45001

Design, plan and perform national trainings (partly in English)

A study of safety technology, safety and danger prevention or a comparable technical study with the additional qualification as a specialist for occupational safety

Ideally, an additional qualification to the fire protection officer, radiation protection officer and an education to the internal auditor according to ISO 19011 with additional qualification according to ISO 45001 or the willingness to further develop this

Work experience in the field of occupational health and safety

An independent and reliable way of working as well as experience in consulting professionals and managers

A safe handling of the common IT tools (MS Office, etc.), ideally experiences with the software Quentic

Very good German and English skills
