With external sales of around 12.24 billion euros and around 76,000 employees (including self-employed retailers and nearly 3,400 trainees), the EDEKA Minden-Hannover is the largest sales of a total of seven regional companies in the cooperatively organized EDEKA association. It has existed since 1920, extends from the Dutch to the Polish border and includes Bremen, Lower Saxony, a part of East Westfalen-Lippe, Saxony-Anhalt, Berlin and Brandenburg. The technical and organizational responsibility for the area of bio, sustainability and regionality lies in your area of responsibility. New ideas actively introduce you, create changes creatively and advance the strategic development of the area with analytical thinking. Assortment and sustainability strategies will continue to develop and stimulate a future-oriented offer and ensure that relevant quality, sustainability and certification requirements are taken into account. You analyse market, customer and assortment developments and derive concrete measures. You identify potentials for sustainable, regional and biological assortments and accompany their implementation. You work closely with internal departments, cultivation associations, suppliers, producers and relevant partners.

A completed study in the field of sustainability management, business management, agricultural sciences, food industry or a comparable qualification forms your technical basis and brings sound knowledge in the fields of bio, sustainability and regionality. With sustainable products, bio-sortimates, regional value chains as well as corresponding seals, standards and certifications, you are perfectly familiar and ideally bring knowledge about agricultural structures, cultivation associations, producer organisations and sustainable supply chains with Secure handling of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is assumed; Knowledge in SAP or comparable goods management and analysis systems are advantageous As a team-ready and communication-strong personality, you can convince different target groups and successfully bring together internal and external partners.
