Machine operators for cutting systems (m/f/d)

Location: Hattingen an der Ruhr Position(s): 3 - Layer, Full-time, Weekend

We are looking for: For our well-known customers in the metal industry, we are looking for a machine operator (m/w/d) for cutting systems at the Hattingen site. 14,68 Euro per hour

Your tasks:

• They operate different cutting systems (water cutting systems, plasma cutting systems, laser cutting systems)
• They use a hall crane to transport the plates (maximum 3 times 12 meters)
• Before transport, they secure the plates by means of vacuum bars and sheet metal clamps and monitor the transport to the cutting system
• They control the batch number, the alloy as well as the dimensions of the plate before the cutting process and equalize it with the data from the order sheet
• Set the plates and select the pre-programmed program
• You monitor the cutting process
• They check the dimensions of the cut metal plates by means of sliders and inch stick
• You log this test procedure using test plans
• They are responsible for waiting and, above all, cleaning the machines
• They regularly monitor the fully automatic feed of the equipment (including sand, plasma, gas)

Your profile:

• (m/w/d) and/or experience in a metalworking company
• They are safe in handling a crane (It can be retrieved)
• You control the German language in word and writing
• They are ready for layer (3 layers)
