(Senior) Land Acquisition Manager – Logistics / Light Industrial Real Estate * (m/f/d)

Own-responsible identification, acquisition and backup of development areas for logistics and light industrial properties with focus on off-market and selected on-market opportunities Systematic construction and maintenance of a sustainable pipeline of potential development sites (Greenfield and Brownfield sites) according to the national acquisition strategy Analysis of market, location and development potentials taking into account economic, structural, technical and socio-demographic conditions Establishment and maintenance of a resilient network to land owners, municipalities, economic promotions, brokers and other relevant market participants Own negotiation and structuring of land purchase contracts, options and cooperation agreements until the successful conclusion of the contract Implementation of first economic, location and feasibility analyses and support in the financial assessment of potential investments Control and support of due diligence processes and coordination of external consultants and specialist planners Support of construction planning procedures and support in early stages of development until the successful handover of the projects to the development and project teams Presentation of acquisition options and decision templates to management Close cooperation with Development, Asset Management, Legal, Finance and Technical Project Management as well as external project participants Current observation of relevant market trends, transactions and competitive activities and identification of new growth regions Participation in the development of the national and European acquisition strategy

completed studies in the real estate sector, urban planning, geography, business management / BWL or a comparable qualification; additional real estate qualifications (e.g. real estate economics, MRICS) are advantageous Multiannual professional experience in property acquisition, expansion or project development, ideally in the field of logistics and industrial real estate Detectable successes in the identification, negotiation and successful completion of property transactions Knowledge of German planning, construction and approval law and a good understanding of location and development potentials Reliable network within the real estate sector, in particular property owners, municipalities, economic promotions, brokers and other relevant market participants Experience in implementation or Control of location assessments and due diligence processes is desirable Ideally knowledge about GIS or location related databases Embossed negotiation skills, entrepreneurial thinking and an independent, structured and solution-oriented approach High readiness to travel within Germany and enjoy an active presence in the market Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
