Manager Product Line Optics & Imaging Systems (m/f/d)

Commercial responsibility for the products in the Product Line incl. Sales, margin and earnings responsibility Discipline of the team and promotion and further development of employees Definition and implementation of product roadmap taking into account market trends, customer requirements and technological developments Assessment of customer requests with the team regarding technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness and strategic fit Marketing for standard products in cooperation with the marketing team Analysis of market and competitive data for identifying growth potentials and new business opportunities Product management for customer-specific products from serial maturity including product life cycle support Sales-Forecast based on sales team figures and continuous monitoring and adaptation of planning Product Forecast for Operations Based on Sales Team Results to Ensure Efficient Production Planning Customer communication for projects and escalations as a central interface for technical and commercial topics Close cooperation with interdisciplinary teams (R&D, Sales, Operations, Quality) to ensure market-oriented product development Developing processes and structures within the Product Line to increase efficiency and transparency

Complete study in the field of physics, precision engineering or comparable qualification Experience in product management ideally in the field of optics, imaging systems or technically demanding products Experience in the leadership of (interdisciplinary) teams including detectable leadership skills Industry knowledge of optics and machine vision; Industry knowledge of semiconductor production desirable readiness to travel to a clear extent Very good communication in German and English in word/writing Affinity for marketing Impressed entrepreneurial thinking and a good understanding of business relationships Experience in handling international customers and markets is beneficial Analytical and Structured Operation and High Problem Solution Competence Safe occurrence, enforcement strength and ability to understand complex facts Experience in work in matrix organisations and stakeholder management Understanding development and production processes of technical products Knowledge in Forecasting, KPI Control and Product Life Cycle Management
