(Senior) Portfolio Manager – Land Intelligence Systems (m/f/d)

As a central contact person for your portfolio, you develop this strategically and continuously – focusing on innovation, customer requirements and market development. In addition, you work with Systems Engineers, Architects and Experts, who will assist you as Sparring partners and experts. You are responsible for the technical assistance in the creation of your portfolio and accompany the project phase over the entire lifecycle. As part of your portfolio work, you build a modular, future-oriented building kit and continuously develop it and test new technologies – an essential basis for efficient and sustainable solutions. You work according to the principles of the (Model-Based) system engineering and actively support its introduction and implementation in the company. Market and competitor analyses, trend monitoring and the identification of customer needs are also part of your tasks as well as their transfer into innovative product, solution and service developments in close cooperation with the specialist departments. You translate customer requirements into market, customer and yield-oriented offers and calculations. In line with your leadership, you will design the strategic orientation and marketing of your portfolio – always with a view to real customer needs and use cases. You support sales in customer address, take technical presentations and demonstrations and represent PLATH at trade fairs and congresses – also internationally.

You ideally have a completed degree in the field of (economic) engineering or a comparable discipline. You bring several years of professional experience in the military environment, preferably with specific domain knowledge from the country portfolio. Experiences in the SIGINT environment and knowledge about the structures, processes and systems of the Bundeswehr are advantageous. You convince with a high degree of negotiation skills, customer orientation, enforcement strength and strategic thinking. A high international readiness to travel and intercultural competence and communication strength at all levels will of course bring you along. You are safe in handling common software such as MS Office, and ideally using SE/MBSE tools and methods. We require knowledge of German and English, and further language skills are welcome.
