The Brandenburg IT service provider (ZIT-BB) is the central IT service provider for the direct state administration of Brandenburg and stands for efficient and professional IT services from a single source. The extensive portfolio of tasks includes the planning, control and operation of the technical infrastructure, as well as the coordination and support of specific, but also cross-resort, common IT procedures. In addition, the Landesbetrieb is responsible for the security management for the IT infrastructure of the Landesverwaltung and the IT project management.

The responsibility for the department manager is to secure the operation of the central system services in ZIT-BB. The department is divided into several specialist teams:

Forced required: Completed academic studies (uni-diploma/master degree) preferably in computer science, economic informatics or economics, administrative informatics or industrial engineering as well as relevant professional experience. Alternatively, you have the prerequisites for the recognition of equivalent skills and experience in the required environment and corresponding activity. For officials outside the state administration of Brandenburg: readiness to request a rule in the protection of the Constitution according to § 3a LBG. We require good knowledge of the German language (at least C1 level).
