SAP Solution Architect / Solution Designer (m/w/x) is located in the ZEISS SMT-internal IT. Its task is to evaluate technical requirements on SAP implementation relevance, to develop solution designs, functional tests and specialist area support. Depending on the subject area requirement, a new mix of process adaptation, master data requirements, user interaction capability and technical implementation expertise is obtained. They are a “Trusted Advisor” for the SAP application areas, which not only processes and implements specific requirements, but also advises colleagues on process questions. For projects, you will see yourself as a technically oriented link between specialist and ZEISS-IT and advise the solution managers working with you. Your team The SMT-IT is an internal provider of support services for individual departments and a link to corporate IT. Due to the strong growth of the ZEISS SMT, new requirements for processes to be implemented in SAP are constantly emerging.

You know the difference between the communicated customer requirement and the actual customer requirement and can moderate the resulting differences

You have many years of experience from an SAP consulting or as an SAP key user and are trained to keep several professional balls in the air at the same time

They are team-ready, can capture requirements and problems from different angles and have a high self-initiative

You have a good overview of the SAP product portfolio of “Logistics” (e.g. PP, MM, QM, ME/MII, PEO, WM)

SAP Customizing and Debugging are not unknown to you. Ideally, you have acquired and already applied this knowledge in a production-loaded work environment

You have successfully completed a degree in (economic) informatics, engineering, physics or comparable

You understand safe occurrence, communication and enthusiasm, as well as excellent knowledge of German and English, as well as working aids used in a very good manner
