Head of Legal, Data Protection & Receivables Management, Chair of the Board of Management & System Control (m/f/d)

As a new business unit in the BVG group, we manage everything that is right to do with data and demands. You will lead an interdisciplinary unit consisting of almost 20 corporate lawyers, data protectors and receivables managers who operate as a business partner, risk manager, chance provider and maker for all business units of the department of our CEO. As a strategic business partner*in, you work closely with the business units, develop legal and pragmatic solutions for operational and strategic goals, minimise risks and promote innovation and creativity The holistic advice in the field of private and public business law is your area of responsibility – from corporate, trademark and contract law to data protection, IT, AI law and procurement law You are responsible for data protection with the understanding that good data protection often requires good data management – structured data management, data security and data quality are the A and O for you, including the BVG suppliers and service providers The receivable management is your responsibility, from the first reminder to the enforcement. You're going to enforce claims out of court and court without losing sight of the big whole You drive the consistent digitization of workflows and develop the team into a powerhouse with Legal Tech and AI. In doing so, you actively conduct your team with empathy and energy through change

above-average degree of legal studies (full lawyerin) with two state exams, ideally admitted as a lawyer (syndical lawyerin) relevant leadership experience in comparable positions, ideally in the mobility sector or related industries broad experience in consulting companies, ideally not only in classical legal advice, but also in data protection and receivable management In addition we look forward to strategically thinking and acting executives with legal-tech affinity, leading teams empathically through digitalization and change processes solution-oriented business partners who communicate complex issues in a comprehensible manner at C level and create pragmatic solutions decision-making personalities with integrity and enforcing power that live Berlin's directness and understand law and data as business tools
