Professorship (W2) in the Teaching and Research Area of Social Work Law

You teach in the Bachelor's and Master's degree courses of the Department I (in particular in the study program Social Work). In addition, you are ready for basic teaching in the field of law in all degree courses of the university. Their focus in teaching and research is in particular on social law. In addition, knowledge in the field of family law is required. As a dedicated colleague, you are involved in the university self-governing.

You fulfil the conditions of employment according to § 36 of the German Higher Education Act NRW. These are, in particular, a completed relevant university study, pedagogical aptitude, the special capacity for scientific work, which is usually demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate and a minimum of five years of professional activity, of which at least three years were carried out outside the higher education sector. You have successfully completed the first and second legal state exams. You are a member of a church belonging to the Association of Christian Churches in Germany (ACK). In the context of the internationalisation of the university, you have the willingness to teach in English. You are committed to the further development of research and teaching. You have an affinity for digital and hybrid teaching offerings that complement the teaching of presence.

You will receive collegial support in the development of your profile formation and a research focus in the aforementioned legal areas and possible cross-sectional topics. The recruitment is first carried out for a period of one year to test for the determination of pedagogical suitability.
