Head of Data & AI (m/f/d)

Response the establishment and further development of the company-wide data platform as a scalable, cloud-based foundation. Define the Enterprise Data architecture and integrate all relevant source systems into a consistent data landscape. Ensure availability, performance, scalability and cost efficiency of the platform. Develop a harmonised Enterprise Data Model and establish a “Single Source of Truth”. Replace KPI logics technically and ensure transparency and data quality. Drive the development and integration of AI/ML solutions into products and processes. Create scalable AI services, APIs and production-ready AI components. Industrialize AI through MLOps and secure operation as well as lifecycle management. Define governance and responsibility models in coordination with Controlling. Ensure high standards in data quality, security, compliance and integrity.

Multiannual leadership experience (approx. 10+ years) in the area of Data Platform, Data Engineering or AI. Detectable successes in building scalable data architectures and in the productive use of AI/ML solutions. Deep understanding of modern data platforms (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ETL/ELT) and cloud-based architectures. Experience in data modelling, metadata management and data origin and transparency. Practice in MLOps and operating AI systems in productive environments. Good understanding of data governance, security and regulatory requirements. Ability to run data and AI teams in product-oriented, scalable setups. Structured, strategic mode of operation with pronounced governance confession and implementation strength. Clear communication at the interface between technology and business. High level of Ownership for data quality, platform stability and the sustainable use of AI. Sovereign communication in German and English in the international environment.
