As a Field Technical Service (FTS), you support our customers in the initial design, processing and optimization of our thermoplastic compounds in the injection molding process. You act as a technical expert on site, accompany critical approaches and make sure that our wide range of products, consisting of high performance, technical and recycled compounds, are optimally used by the customer.

1. Customer Care & Abmuster: Line and support of initial samples at the customer – from tool clamping to parameter determination/adjustment to acceptance Technical support in the processing of high-performance compounds (e.g. PEEK, PPS, PA-special compounds and CF-reinforced materials, tribologically optimized compounds, electrically and thermally conductive polymer compounds and recycled compounds) Two. Component- & Process Knowledge: Product-related assessment and design of components (injection design, ventilation recommendation, flow paths, deforming) Process design support (filling behaviour, reprinting concepts, hot-runner settings)
2. Troubleshooting at the customer Analysis of processing and quality problems Transfer of measures and sustainable solutions directly on site
3. Documentation & Knowledge Building Creation and maintenance of product-specific processing recommendations, parameter guidelines and process documents Systematic documentation of all samples, observations and optimization measures (Lessons Learned Database) Construction and transfer of technical knowledge to sales, R&D and product management
4. Internal cooperation Close interface work with Sales, R&D, Technikum, Qualitätswesen und Business Development Support for customer projects, material qualifications and training

Completed training or studies in the field of plastics engineering Process mechanics for plastics and rubber engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable Found experience in the processing of high-performance compounds in injection moulding desirable Practical knowledge in the product-related component design as well as in the setup and optimization of injection molding processes Safe and Analytical Approach in Troubleshooting Very high readiness to travel (Europe-wide) English safe in word and writing Safe handling of common Microsoft Office tools Embossed communication skills and a real team player who works independently
