Head of Finance Foreign Subsidiaries (m/w/d)

Our long-term client, headquartered in the Alb-Donau-Kreis, is a medium-sized and successful family group in the field of electrical systems and components for niche markets (including cranes, construction/land machines, ships, trains, etc.). Good yields, highest quality demands and innovative, advanced ideas characterize the constantly evolving company and its market position. In recent years, despite Corona, some important investments have been made to be even more competitive for the future. In the course of a newly created position, we are looking for a conversation with a professionally and humanly convincing personality as head of finance abroad (m/w/d).

In this exciting role you take responsibility for the financial, reporting and commercial processes of several smaller subsidiaries and sister companies (up to 15 employees per company) abroad. In doing so, you act both strategically and somewhat operationally and ensure efficient processes in an international environment. The colleagues responsible for the national companies in China, the USA, India and the Netherlands report on the commercial issues directly to you as a new head of finances abroad. You will be supported by a very small team at the headquarters and report directly to the Group's Commercial Management / CFO. With their team, you coordinate cooperation with the local accounting teams, check annual accounts for plausibility and answer the tax report as well as the Mahnwesen. In reporting and controlling, you create consolidated financial reports, monitor budgets, transfer pricing and internal performance accounting. An important part of your task is the establishment and further development of the treasury sector, in particular with regard to the management and hedge of foreign currencies from Germany. In addition, you are responsible for compliance and risk management, care insurance and ensure compliance with legal requirements. You accompany growth, optimization and commercial projects and thus make a significant contribution to the further development of the company.

You have a completed business studies or a comparable training with further education and several years of professional experience in the financial environment with international reference in a medium-sized and producing company. You bring well-founded knowledge in accounting, taxes and transfer pricing, communicate safely in German and have very good English skills. A very analytical and structured way of working, strong communication skills, and team orientation are the key drivers. JOBV1_EN
