As a Data Science Manager, you combine analytical know-how with entrepreneurial thinking and translates data into optimization potentials.

Analysis of business processes and identification of data-driven optimization potentials through explorative data analysis Development and evaluation of Use Cases incl. feasibility and cost-effectiveness analyses, selection of single algorithms and technologies Development, documentation and validation of machine learning and deep learning models, as well as the establishment and maintenance of data pipelines (ETL/ELT) Monitoring, retraining and continuous optimization of existing models Support in implementing productive ML services (e.g. via APIs, MLOps Frameworks) Control of interdisciplinary projects from idea to rollout. Documentation, creation of reports, dashboards and presentations for management decisions Support in building an AI-based process optimization area Working in Group-wide Data Science Projects

Completed studies in data science, statistics, computer science, (economic) mathematics, or a comparable degree programme Multiannual experience in the development of machine learning or AI modeling ideally in the financial services industry Very good knowledge of data analysis tools and languages (e.g. Python, SQL, Qlik) Experience in controlling data-driven optimization projects Communication and consulting skills, a convincing occurrence in cooperation with cross-functional teams High motivation, initiative and willingness to actively promote and create new topics Very good German and good English skills
