Senior Legal Counsel / In-house Lawyer as Generalist (m/f/d)

As a “Senior Legal Counsel / Syndicusrechtsanwalt (m/w/d)” at the BAUHAUS Campus in Mannheim, which is designed for up to 1,500 employees, you are responsible for a wide range of legal topics in the field of Legal & Compliance with a direct line of report to the Senior Vice President Legal & Compliance. You work interdisciplinary with other disciplines and are part of a dedicated and open team of colleagues. A modern individual office and New Work Area offer you the ideal working environment. You advise and support the various business units and departments of the BAUHAUS Group and develop practical solutions taking into account legal, economic and technical requirements. Depending on the professional qualification, you are primarily active in civil law, economic and contractual law, competition and IP law, real estate and construction law, IT and digital law, product law or in the field of compliance and accompany both the commercial activities of BAUHAUS and demanding strategic projects in Germany and abroad.

You have a successfully completed study of law with at least satisfactory State Examina. You understand themselves as a team player, have good communicative skills and are able to make complex legal relationships understandable, practical and convincing. You bring understanding of economic relations and are characterised by a solution-oriented and result-oriented working style. You understand yourself as a generalist (m/w/d) with specialist focus and have at least 5 years of professional experience in one or more of the aforementioned legal areas. Good knowledge of English (a stay abroad would be advantageous) and a routined handling of digital media round off your profile.
