Senior Software Architect (m/f/d)

You take over the management and coordination of the modernization of our cloud-based ERP software, including migration from .NET Framework to .NET Core, as well as the transfer of code, data and processes. For our cloud applications, you will develop a scalable, secure and performant architecture focusing on microservices and containerization. You check existing system components and identify optimization potentials in efficiency, wartability and integration. The selection and integration of modern technologies, frameworks and cloud services is your responsibility to ensure the long-term future security of our ERP solution. Together with interdisciplinary teams such as development, cloud operations, platform engineering and stakeholders, you successfully implement the architecture strategy. You ensure compliance with best practices by implementing code reviews, CI/CD pipelines and quality standards. Significant architectural documentation, guidelines and risk analysis are the first to offer a sustainable development.

You will bring a completed study or comparable training in the field of computer science. You have at least five years of professional experience in software development, of which ideally three years in the design and implementation of ERP systems. Finding knowledge of object-oriented programming with .NET (C#) as well as Angular characterize you. Quality orientation, team skills and sense of responsibility are your strengths. The further development and modernization of an established application will delight you. You are ready to look beyond the edge of the plate and to question products as well as approach models critically – even from economic points of view. Flowing German knowledge and excellent English skills complete your profile.
