Become part of our global team: You make the difference – YOU MAKE US The Mercedes-Benz plant Kassel is the global competence center for commercial vehicle axles of Daimler Truck AG. In forward-looking production processes, the employees produce axles for trucks, buses, transporters and cars, as well as joint shafts and wheel sets. For a climate-friendly and future-oriented production, the plant operates, among other things, a complete hall with two installation systems, which covers its entire energy from photovoltaic systems on the roof of the hall. Kassel is one of the largest commercial vehicle axle plants in Europe and is the largest industrial employer in the city. Your job is in the Kassel Work Safety and Environmental Protection Team, which is responsible for the classic work safety and environmental issues. The area of environmental protection includes support for environmental law issues such as immissioning and water protection, waste management, regular environmental reporting, the maintenance of the environmental management system and the advice of other areas on environmental protection.

Working in all areas of occupational safety Insights into the higher-level occupational safety topics (e.g. risk assessments), system and process relationships and collaboration with current AS projects and campaigns Support of the AS organisation according to current legal requirements Create new method/operating instructions and update existing operating instructions with support describe AS processes in-house and location-specific Creation of a joint training catalogue for occupational safety and environmental issues
